EmployAbility was founded in 1982 as The Dallas Mayor’s Committee for the Employment of People With Disabilities. Jack Wilson Evans, Dallas mayor at the time, created the organization to help Dallas become an exemplary city for the modern world. Over time, our name has changed but our mission remains the same – work to advance employment opportunities for people with different abilities.
I am honored to serve as a board member and Chairman of the Community Outreach Committee.
We work to engage the business community to build a diverse workforce by valuing people with different abilities. Our vision has enjoyed support from city, state and federal leaders as well as the corporate community.
